He/Shewillberesponsibleforlinendutiesofthesite,aswellasthe organization,maintenanceandcleanlinessofdepartmentstorageareas.TheHousepersonwilladheretothecompany’ssafetyprogramandmaintainOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministration(OSHA),includingthenewGlobalHarmonizedSystemforchemicals(GHS),regulations.



  • Responsible for constant cleanliness by providing housekeeping throughout the resort and ensuring a clean environment for guests :Assisthousekeepingteam withupkeepofsupplies,deliverlinen,paperproductsandunitamenities,assistwithcleaningasneeded.Coordinateandcreatelinenandamenitiesbags.Receive,sort,fold,andbag cleanlinen.Organize,clean,andmaintainstocklevelsofdepartmentstorageareasaccordingtocompany’scleanlinessandsafetystandards.Weigh soiled and clean linen carts, create daily delivery log using next day Departure report, load linen bags on box truck for daily delivery, unload and deliver linen bags to buildings, return loose clean linen from closets to Laundry, Count linen bags in building closets for monthly inventory, pickup and delivery of pool and fitness towels to the Activities desk and the outdoor pool hut, unload delivery trucks of amenities items and new linen, stock delivered amenities items and linen, assist guests with luggage and directions as needed.

  • Maintain positive customer and associate relationships: Respondappropriatelytoguestandassociateinquiriesandconcernstoensuretotalguestsatisfaction.Promoteteamworkandqualityservicethroughdailycommunicationsandcoordinationwithotherdepartments.(10%time)

  • Ensure compliance with :InternalAudit,QualityAssurance,LossPrevention,ResortOperatingProcedures,GuestServiceDepartmentOperatingProcedure,andStandardOperatingProcedures.(10%time)

  • Build a “Count On Me” Culture :CreateapositiveandengagingworkenvironmentbasedonWyndham’sCountOnMephilosophy;beresponsivetotheneedsofourguests,associatesandallwecomeintocontactwithonthejob,berespectfulineveryway;deliveragreatexperience.(10%time)

  • Performs other duties as needed (5%time)


Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent

b) Training requirements

  • N/A

c) Knowledge and skills

  • Detail oriented with organizational skills

  • Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment

  • Ability to read and comprehend routine instructions, short correspondence and memos

  • Ability to give high priority to customer service

  • Ability to receive, sort, and fold laundry.

  • Must maintain a professional appearance and a Can-Do, positive attitude towards all guests and staff

  • Must be people oriented and able to work independently or with others as needed

  • Six months related housekeeping or building maintenance experience
